CONVERTIBLE SAAB 900 INJECTION 5 SPEED MANUAL . THIS IS OUR CHEAPEST ENTRY LEVEL CLASSIC 900. IT HAS A RECENT NEW HOOD WITH NO LEAKS. IT DRIVES AS IT SHOULD, IS FINISHED IN TALLADEGA RED, WITH GREY CLOTH INTERIOR. THERE IS A BLAUPAUNKT RADIO WITH SINGLE CD. THE NON TURBO MODELS ARE CHEAPER TO BUY, CHEAPER TO RUN AND A BIT CHEAPER TO INSURE. CLASSIC INSURANCE IS DIRT CHEAP BY COMPARISON TO NORMAL, WHICH COULD MAKE THIS AN ECONOMICAL SECOND, OR JUST SUMMER FUN CAR. HAVING SAID THAT, THESE CARS ARE EMMINENTLY USEABLE ALL YEAR ROUND.THE CAR IS VERY SOUND AND SOLID UNDERNEATH. IT FAILED THE MOT ON THE REAR FLEXIBLE BRAKE HOSES WHICH WE HAVE REPLACED AND THE CAR SUBSEQUENTLY PASSED THE MOT. IT WILL BE SERVICED AND RE-CHECKED UPON SALE. WE HAVE ALSO JUST REPLACED THE HEAD GASKET AND ALL THE ENGINE BLOCK CORE-PLUGS, WHICH APPEARED SLIGHTLY MORE CORRODED THAN I WOULD LIKE. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE USE ONLY GENUINE PARTS FOR THIS TYPE OF WORK.
